Whitney Houston ~ Queen Of The Night ~ Arista ~ 1993

From the Bodyguard soundtrack written by Whitney with L.A and Babyface with Daryl Simmons. In the States it wasn’t actually released as a single but received such substantial airplay it got to number 36 on the Hot 100 Airplay chart. It also made number 1 on the Club chart and made 14 over here where it was released as a single.

Anita Baker ~ Squeeze Me ~ Beverley Glen ~ 1983

From Toledo Ohio, Anita Baker and Squeeze Me from the classic first album “The Songstress” originally realesed in 1983 on Beverley Glen and then repromoted on Elektra when she signed for them and made the Rapture album. Squeeze me was written by Patrick Moten who was at the very heart of the Songstress album
