Kim English ~ I Know A Place ~ Nervous Records US / Hi-Life UK ~ 1995

Written and produced by Byron Burke and Byron Stingily from Ten City with Mike Dunn
UK number 50 US Club Dance 32

Tina Moore ~ Never Gonna Let You Go ~ ~ Scotti Brothers US / Delirious UK ~ 1997

Born in 1970 in Racine, Wisconsin this track was originally out with some Steve Silk Hurley mixes in 1995 – it was finally hit in the UK in 97 when the Kelly G Bump & Go mix took priority.
US R&B 27, UK number 7

Janet Jackson ~ Don’t Stand Another Chance ~ A&M ~ 1984

The first single to be taken from Janet’s second alum Dream Street, Don’t Stand Another Chance was written by Janet with brother Marlon and John Barnes (not the footballer but a UK born sax player). Various Jackson brothers are on the track including Michael. The single made 101 on the Hot 100, 23 US Dance and 9 US R&B. I don’t think it got a UK release.

Stacy Lattisaw ~ Nail It To The Wall ~ Motown ~ 1986

In 1986 Stacy moved from Cotillion to Motown to record her Take Me All The Way album. This was the first single to be taken from it and reached 48 on the Hot 100, 4 US R&B, 2 US Dance, and 76 here in the UK.
