Quincy Jones selected Albert Jason Brown III aka Al B Sure as the first winner of the Sony Innovators Talent Search. Subsequently, Mr B Sure went on to work with Quincy Jones on several projects, most notably the platinum selling single “Secret Garden” from the Back On The Block album where he was part of a quartet withBarry White, El Debarge and James Ingram.

Nite And Day comes from his debut album”In Effect Mode” which sold more than two million copies, topping the Billboard R&B album chart for seven straight weeks. Nite And Day topped the American R&B and dance charts and reached #7 on the Hot 100.
